Southbridge Savannah Golf Club

HANDICAP COMPETITION: Weekly nine-hole events starting in April and ending in August. Rounds will start at 5:30 PM with a shotgun start.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to men who are members or employees of Southbridge and members of the Southbridge Men's Golf Association with a valid handicap index.  Eligible participants may bring a non-eligible guest with a valid handicap index once during the season.

FORMAT: Modified Stableford Scoring:
Net Double Bogey or worse; -3 points
Net Bogey; - 1 point
Net Par; 0 points
Net Birdie; 2 points
Net Eagle; 5 points
Net Albatross; 8 points

ENTRY FEE: $10 with optional skins entry fee of $5.

HANDICAPS: Each player's handicap index will be used to calculate a nine-hole Playing Handicap for the nine holes being played.

THE COURSE: Play will normally be on the front nine, but will occasionally be on the back 9. Play will be from the SMGA tees except that players 65 and older may elect to play the Green tees and players 75 and older may elect to play the Silver tees.

PRIZES: The top 50% plus ties will earn prizes from the entry fees. Skins prizes will be divided among skin winners.

USGA RULES; All play will be conducted in accordance with the USGA Rules of Golf except as provided for by the Local Rules.
