SUNDAY SCRAMBLE

Want to have some fun on a Sunday afternoon?   Come check out our Sunday Scramble!   This 9-hole party starts every Sunday at 2:00 PM / year-round.

Sign up as a couple (2) to be on the same team but singles (1) are definitely welcomed too.   Once everyone arrives, a blind draw will be used to set up teams – – hopefully foursomes with an occasional threesome.

Know this is a FUN event – – there’s no pressure for any one’s drive to be used in the round.  Every shot is a scramble – –  using the “best” ball each time.  Some teams even have varied rituals when the team scores a birdie – – cheers, fireball, dancing, knuckle-bumps – – or all the above!

Cost?   Each player will pay their cart and greens fee to the club at check in.    Then everyone contributes to the Scramble Prize Fund (a total of $1.00 per person) with the pot awarded at the end of the round to the team(s) with the lowest score.   Big money – – big fun!

At the end of the round, everyone gathers at the Pavilion, fire pit or inside (depending on the weather) where the prize $$$ will be awarded ~~ accompanied by a bit of laughing, joking and drinking too.   Vickery’s will be ready to serve us all!

Club membership is not required. Everyone is welcome to join in the Scramble – – but don’t be surprised to find yourself asking about joining Southbridge Savannah Golf Club after you’ve played with this group!!!!
